Phillippa brings over 35 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and General Manager, combining deep clinical expertise with senior leadership across the nursing home and retirement community. Her nursing journey began in Oxford, and it was a passion for people that drew her into residential care — a sector she has loved ever since.
A natural innovator, Phillippa is driven by one goal: to make a meaningful difference in every resident’s life. She thrives on variety, is continually learning, and finds her greatest reward in seeing those she cares for smile.

We have partnered with Concierge Medical to provide access to a private GP at Newlands. The service includes a named GP for every resident in the nursing unit, dedicated ward rounds, 24/7 out-of-hours support and an on-site acute pharmacy cabinet.
Beyond the care home, our on-site clinical and care team manage health checks, measuring everything from weight to blood pressure. Secure records and medical history are kept, monitored, and reviewed to ensure you receive the highest-quality care, if and when you need it. Medication and prescriptions can be handled on your behalf.

Chauffeur – If you are planning a trip to the races or need to attend an appointment or private function, you don’t need to worry about driving or making alternative transport arrangements. Your Newlands chauffeur can take you, wait with you or pick you up after your appointment.

Our friendly housekeeping team keeps your home spotless with weekly cleans and an annual deep clean. We can also arrange daily bin emptying, kitchen and bathroom cleaning. And forget washing and ironing – we’ll collect, launder, iron, and return your laundry weekly, or more often if you prefer.
