When we made the decision to leave our much-loved home, it wasn’t one we took lightly. After my husband’s illness, maintaining two acres of gardens had simply become too much and we knew, together, that something had to change.
We had always felt drawn to the Cotswolds, so when we discovered Newlands, everything seemed to fall into place at once. The location was just right. The look and feel of the property, the generous sense of space, it was exactly what we had been hoping to find. And knowing that care would be there if and when we needed it gave us both a quiet, lasting reassurance.
What struck us, though, was the warmth of the place. The quality of the homes, the friendliness of the people we met, and the consistently caring attitude we encountered throughout the community – it all confirmed that we had found somewhere very special.
We now enjoy the independence of our own home while embracing everything life here has to offer -theatre trips, leisurely lunches, and sociable evening drinks whenever the mood takes us. And through all of it, we have the comfort of knowing that support is right on our doorstep, should we ever need it.
